Special applications and installation situations
Each Menschick dryer is a so-called convective dryer, because the drying process as well as the transport of the evaporated moisture is done by convection, (air flow). Since the air flow is usually heated to increase the drying effect, such a system is frequently also called a hot air dryer. For optimal drying results, effective convective drying systems are equipped with special discharge nozzles. Because of this, the terms nozzle dryer and impinging jet dryer are commonly used as well. Within a belt dryer the transport is done by use of a conveyor belt.
